Tonia Fleming ~ Enthusiastically Knowledgeable About Cats!

Tonia Fleming is a professional cat sitter and cat coach. She has over 30+ years experience specializing in senior, disabled and special needs cats. Currently she is available for in your home cat sitting and basic grooming services. 

Her advanced palliative skill set includes administering oral and transdermal medications, insulin, subcutaneous fluids, offering palliative support, managing special diets etc — all while delivering comfort in the familiar surroundings of home.

In 1997 Tonia established The Kitty’s Corner, a cat boarding and grooming business in Whitman, MA. In 2004 she began cat sitting and working with special needs cats that purr-ferred to stay at home. In 2015 she moved to Kingston and started offering cat boarding and cat sitting until 2019 when she moved to alonther location and now she only is offering cat sitting.

In 2016 her cat care business was nominated Honorable Mention in Pet Care Services in Kingston Massachusetts Wicked Local Awards. She is the creator of Purr View, Purr View - a method of cat care that brings comfort to cats and peace of mind to cat parents, She trains new cat sitters to turn their love of cats into a career on Purr View.com 

She has an A.S. in Animal Care and Management from Becker College and a BSSp in Communications and Public Relations from Emerson College in Boston. 

She is a proud member of a Pet Sitters Associates, a Professional Member of The Cat Writers Association.

When she’s not caring for cats, she’s teaching and mentoring the next generation of professional cat caregivers through her online career programs, and the Work With Cats Podcast. Based in Kingston, Massachusetts, she shares her home with her husband, four cats, chickens, and three parakeets.
